Mrs. Mango's is owned and operated by Anneke Langendonk.
At the store you will also meet Kitty Kennedy, Mrs. mango's daughter,
and Anneke Penn, Mrs. Mango's granddaughter.
The
business opened its doors in 1988 and this past September marked our 25th year in business.
We take great pride in our traditional herb shop. You will not find manufactured
or pre-processed products here. We have loose and capsulated herbs and spices that we encapsulate ourselves. An assortment
of herbal, black,
and green tea's. Raw, local
honey.
And a healthy array of just plain neat
stuff.
Our philosophy is that the body is essentially
capable of healing and protecting itself, with the elimination of processed chemicals, coloring, preservatives, supplements,
and a little help from nature every once in a while. As close to the way mother nature created things the better, all things
created by honey bees are extraordinary, and like your mother always said..."eat your vegetables!"
Modern medicine is indispensable, but it is not necessarily the
first or last resort. Why take manufactured prescriptions for everything under the sun when you can help yourself and your
body by trying a natural remedy that is time tested and reliable.
Our ancestors have been our chemists and researchers and have left us with the knowledge of generations. Let us listen
